The news has revealed the Kosovo Correcting Service through a communiqué to the media.
“In the course of combating negative phenomena within the correcting institutions, last night around 7:00, at the time of admission to the task, during the search, staff raid by security officers, at the main gate zero has been prevented from introducing smuggling within Pristina's Paraburg Centre. During the search, in the body of the probation officer, V. Q has found suspected narcotics subject”, said in communiqué.

In connection with the case, the Kosovo Police Antidroga Unit, which has emerged at the scene, has been reported, in which case they seized the suspected narcotics substance, while the suspect has been escorted to the police station for further proceedings.
To the alleged correctional officials, the suspension measures from the workplace have been taken and the internal disciplinary procedure has immediately been initiated.
Kosovo's corrective service remains committed to fighting negative phenomena, including combating smuggling, narcotics, corruption and misuse of the official position, and would in no way allow the risk of corrective institutions by such phenomena and actions.
