Capodicas: I first came professionally and curiously to do a job outside Italy. I didn't know exactly what the situation was like in Albania in 1997, I saw war from the news. Although I found myself well.
Question: What did you come by, and what did Albania look like?
Capodicas: I came by ship. I remember something very beautiful. Two Italian teams played football, and fans of Albanians shouted and typhooned like in Italians. It was beautiful.
Question: How do you view Albania today after 24 years?
Capodicas: They've changed a lot to the sights and the streets. In 1997 the lights were gone in four days. It was horrible. It melted my meat in the fridge. I had nothing to wear. Albania has changed. But attention should be on young people. It takes a faster change in youth. A doctor, nurse is about to finish her studies, or financially, more patience is needed.
Question: Have you ever thought about leaving Albania?
Capodicas: No, I've never raised my job here and my family. 100% I'm Albanian, 100% Italian.
