European Union for Foreign Policy High Representative Josep Borrell said today after meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti that he has told the latter that the alternative scheme other than dialogue with Serbia.

He said dialogue “is one of the most important issues we discussed”.
He also cited Kurt as the great confidence he received from citizens in the recent parliamentary elections. Borrell said citizens trusted him to push Kosovo towards the EU.
“A person when he receives such a strong mandate from citizens means that if they offer an opportunity to push Kosovo towards the European Union, European standards and we hope that you will use this option”, Borrell said.
