Kadri Wessel's lawyer, Ben Emerson, has also been criticising the Prosecution in The Hague over the lack of testimony material.
At this stage, let me say that Mr. Smith's claim that Mr. Thaci's defense is seeking to create some kind of history that has something to do with information being released is a belief claim”, Emerson said after Periscope.
“You honoured the court that demands for the measures have been rejected and the prosecution is taking more time to offer its obligations, I mean that ideas that proper defence behavior should be characterised as a kind of obstacle to the court, have a review and provide a bad image for the tribunal itself. I'd ask Mr. Smith to drop such charges in terms of defense.
I just wanted to say that these suggestions, defense behavior, are normal protection behavior”, Emmerson said.
