The Kosovo Post's 3 March Union Union Association has sent a letter to incumbent Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, and other government dictatorships. In this letter they have requested that by Friday (now) the government fulfill its obligations to them, otherwise they will radicalise.
Kosovo Post workers are now having difficulty realising their salaries. Public institutions have realised salaries for February, but not even the employees of the Public Company “Kosovo Post”.
This has led them to address the office of prime minister and their shareholder, the Ministry of Economic Development” to pay their salaries. On the contrary, they have warned radical steps leading to the blocking of the Post offices.
We're still not getting wages as workers. So, the Post Union next week will start with protests until general strike”, Bujar Shala, chairman of the Kosovo Post Workers' Union, told news.
I am addressing the Pope that we Kosovo Post workers are awaiting the Government's commitment to the Post, where you have promised that you will soon find a solution, but we still have nothing concrete. If you think that we Posters will remain without pay to go to your will you have made mistakes. In pandemic times, we have worked hard to provide services. How do you think you're bankrupting an asset where you're a shareholder, where we postal workers are not guilty of the situation created in the Enterprise, but it's the policy that has led to this”, says the letter.
So I'm addressing the Union on behalf of you that if you don't take steps to protect your assets by Friday, we'll take union steps to protect our salaries from protests to blocking the mail offices, where many other institutions are blocked in this case. I expect a reflection from your”, says further on this letter
The post was addressed to the prime minister's office for several more requests a few months ago.
