Lajcak says he handed out documents to Kurti to prepare for dialogue

The European Union's Special Emisar for the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Miroslav Lajcak, remained in Kosovo three days, but did not reveal details about his meeting with VVOK's candidate for prime minister, Albin Kurti. But when he went to Belgrade, Miroslav Lajcak confirmed that besides words, the man expected to become prime minister [...]

This document and some other documents I handed to Albin Kurt, because he must have complete information. For me it was important that he formulate now his platform, programme and priorities by being informed of all that needs to be known when the dialogue is at stake”, Lajcak said, among other things, in an interview for Serbian television N1.

Lajcak argues that documents in question are not public, since these deals are worthless until the comprehensive agreement is reached.

From the Vetevendosje Movement neither deny nor affirm the acceptance of documents by the EU emissary, however, they confirm its information on the process of dialogue in general and developments to the present process after its resumption.

At the same time, Kurti has announced Lajcak's priorities for the new government -- employment and justice -- and what is considered access to dialogue. At that meeting the two have agreed that the dialogue is important and that it should be principled and well prepared”, Vetevendosje spokesman Progress Kryeziu said.

The incumbent Prime Minister, Avdullah Hoti, has confirmed that he has initial deals with the Serbian president until he mentioned one in particular that it is for the missing persons.

“This is part of the mutual recognition agreement that we have launched and which I have spoken about in the Assembly”, the acting government chief said on Friday.

Under a preliminary plan that Lajcak has mentioned, Kurti if he becomes Kosovo's new prime minister, he will most likely meet with Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq in Brussels sometime in May.
