Modern - day informative technology is vital for the education and advancement of knowledge for everyone. Therefore, this donation is estimated to reach this mission, so to allow the children of SOS villages to be in contemporary circles.
Albana Zogu Morina from the SOS Children's Villages said these computers will help children get access to online learning.
“Given simultaneously the need for online learning and access to information and internet technology, of course, the donation from 50 computers is extremely welcome. This donation will support children who are part of the family's empowerment program, who have no access to technological equipment during this time of pandemic where they often have to continue learning through online forms. Of course, the needs of the children we care about every day will also be satisfied, she said.
According to the KED, this is not the first time they have donated equipment for this institution, as in December last year the company had equipped SOS children villages with dozens of tablets.
KECS warns that it will take such initiatives in the future as well so that children can create opportunities for theoretical knowledge to blend in with practical ones through information technology cabinets that will be created where the need is.
Today's donation is not the only one the company has done in information technology equipment. KEDS so far had donated over 150 computers to various schools across the country, with the goal of Kosovo students being on the move with information technology.
