Instead of the sticks in the nose to get the sample tested, Peter van Wees has asked participants to shout or sing in an isolated cabin. Then, an air filter collects fragments from their mouth and analyzes them.
He put his cabin next to a Coronavirus testing center in Amsterdam to prove his invention to people who have just been tested.
The whole process lasts about 3 minutes, Reuters writes.
A test through the spirit where participants are required to blow into a tube has been approved last month in Amsterdam but has not yet begun to be used as a method.
