I announce that today ( Thursday, March 4, 2021, 11:00) The Central Election Commission announces the final results of early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, which were held on February 14th 2021x1>, it is said in a statement.
After the official announcement, parties or candidates have the right to complaint on the Election Panel for Anxiety and Parashtre (PZAP), within 24 hours. After PZAP, complaints can be made in the Supreme Court as well.
Evental polls could further delay the Certificate of election results, which paves the way for the new legal deadline for the Kosovo Assembly binding.
After the certificate of election results from the CEC, the assembly must be held within 30 days. This process is formal and is not expected to have delays, and the new parliamentary composition could be introduced within March.
Based on preliminary results, the elections have won the Vetevendosje Movement, followed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.
Taking into account all votes counted, the winner of these elections, the Vetevendosje Movement, has received 58 mandates in the Kosovo Assembly.
While second in the election, the Democratic Party of Kosovo received 19 mandates in the Assembly. After the PDK, the LDK) comes with 15 mandates, the Serbian List with 10 mandates, non-Serb communities with 10 mandates, and the AAKA on 8 mandates.
