Action inspectors in Prizren's petries seized 765kg of meat

AWA spokesman Lamir Thaci has declared that the meat that has been confiscated today will be destroyed during the coming days.

“In full co-ordination of AUV's veterinarian inspectors and local Prizren municipality inspectors were inspected all occupants in the city. In any case where inspectors face meat and meat products without documentation, the same was prohibited for circulation (conficuqua) and will be annihilated in the days ahead”, he stated.

Thaci announced that 765 kg of meat has been confiscated from today's action.

“From this action has resulted in seizures of 765kg of meat and meat byproducts ( fresh meat, mechanically divided meat, meat in processing stages, ground meat, sausage, meat, etc.), which failed to meet the conditions for trading”, Thaci told Express.

He said that meat without origin or documentation has been encountered in a carat.

“The Sanitary technical conditions of the general-level cartores were good. In some cases, remarks have been made about improvement within the deadline. All the occupants were registered near the AUV. The meat supply was mainly of licensed slaughter, owned documentation for the origin of the meat. In one oatmeal has been encountered meat without documentation, and all the amount has been banned from circulation to annihilation”, Thaci indicated.

He therefore stated that meat byproducts that were prohibited in the carnivores, there were no licenses to process products that are thermally treated.

The other amounts of meat by - products prohibited in other carnants was mainly due to lack of a license to process products that are dealt withrically. AUV in the coming days will do the annihilation of all the forbidden amount. It will also continue with shares all over Kosovo, for removing from the market of products which do not meet the legal criteria for trading”, Thaci has announced.
