PLE Chairman Veton Berisha, through a communique, has said that the initiative that can take over the reserved Egyptian MP, “Romania Initiative”, is the product of the Serbian List, controlled by Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucinq.
Similarly, two Bosniak parties -- the DSU and the NDS -- have accused the Serbian List of creating fanatic Bosnian initiatives to take the seats reserved for the community. The two Bosniak parties have referred to Adrian Hodzic's initiative, which has received the majority of votes in Serb majority municipalities, where there are not many Bosniaks.
PLE head Berisha says the same strategy has been followed with the community he represents.
“The Egyptian Liberal Party (PLE) has been informed by media about a new political version, which is dictated by the Serbian political subject slain as forming two political subjects of non-communal communities that are under the control of this political subject. Initially, PLE has seen this information as a form of pre-election campaign, but after the election results published by the CEC in several Kosovo municipalities, it is clear that the Political Subject ♫ Romania Initiative is the product of the Serbian List, because this political subject has received a large number of votes in settlements where the Roma community does not live at all”, said the communique.
PLE considers this a violation of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and free vote.
Therefore, PLE invites diplomatic missions, political subjects and other justice bodies to react to this injustice because if it is not now being reacted, this practice will in the future be dangerous precedent, which will violate the right of free vote of citizens. The PLE will wait until the final results, and after their publication, it will take additional procedural actions under the laws at power”, the communique signed by Berisha said.
“Romania Initiative”, according to preliminary results, has received 3,827 votes, meanwhile, PLE 2.199.
The same in the Bosniak community leads Hodzic's initiative towards other Bosniak parties. Hodjiqi's initiative has received 6,379. Three seats in Kosovo's parliament are reserved for the Bosniak community.
