Water tariffs approved for 2022-2024

The ARRU say that water tariffs and polluted waters approved through this tariff process reflect the real cost of producing drinking water, unloading and processing contaminated waters, and that tariffs have been maintained.

The fixed water tariffs in the KRU “Pristina” have not changed. There are only a few categories. Now the water rate for home consumers' categories has increased by one cent. The Vulometric tariff for water services from 43 cents has become 44 cents per cubic metre, while the vulometric fee for contaminated water services has been changed from 0.05 to 0.06, so there has been an increase for one cent in cubic metre.

And in the non-house categories, non-commercial and institutional, the vulometric fee for the water supply services was 0.69 per cubic metre, while now at new tariffs is 0.067, which is that there was a drop to two cents. While the vulometric fee for water services contaminated by 0.01 while it was there has now become 0.13 cents per cubic metre. So there was a price increase for two cents.

The fixed fee remains on CRU “Prizren. The Vulometric Tarifa for water utility for the domestic consumer category has remained the same, so 0.08 cents per cubic metre. The same fee has remained the Vulometric fee for contaminated water services 0.14.

As for the non-home and institutional category, there are only changes to vulometric tariffs for water supply services. From 0.67 cents per cubic metre, now it's 0.57 cents per cubic metre, so there's been a discount. While, the vulometric fee for contaminated water services per category remains the same.

Fixed tariffs and vulometric tariffs for basic activity to provide water supply and contaminated water services for CRU “Gjakoven” has had some changes. The volume fee for water services for the domestic consumer category is 0.37, which continues to be the same. While the volume fee for contaminated water services for this category has undergone changes. From 0.07 cents per cubic metre to 0.14 cents per cubic metre.

And for the non-house category (commercial and institutional) the vulometric property of 0.67 is now 0.56 cents. While vulometric tariffs for water services contaminated from 0.16 to 0.30 cents per cubic metre.
