Hundreds of contacts of two persons have been tracked and tested, and at least five have resulted positive, the AP reports.
India has already classified several countries like dangerous “” in terms of the new version of COVID-19, and travelers from those countries are being tested as soon as they arrive in India.
Health officials have called for citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible. Over 56 per cent of Indians have received a dose of vaccine, 32 per cent are completely vaccinated.
