The court hearing in the case of Hysni Gucatit and Nasim Haradinaj has ended earlier due to technical problems in the Specialised Chambers.
Following the pause, it was meant to continue witnessing to the former head of the KLA War Veterans Organisation, but the Specialised Chambers have announced that due to video-connection difficulties between the courtroom and the detention unit at The Hague, the hearing will continue tomorrow.
While Hysni Gucati has witnessed in the courtroom, Nasim Haradinaj has attended the remote hearing because of the coronary infection. But, in the final part of the session, technical problems have emerged, and Haradinaj has failed to submit the trial.
Since the Specialised Chambers have failed to restore the connection, the session is expected to continue tomorrow.
A former leader of O VL- The KLA, Hysni Gucati, has continued his testimony for the second day in a row, where officials of the veterans' organisation have not published names or statements of witnesses that may have been in the classified documents at OVL-KLA offices.
He has said they have been aiming to prove that the Special Court co-operates with Serbia, what he claims is shown in documents they had reached OVL-KLA.
Nasim Haradinaj's Hysni Gucati were arrested on 25 September 2020 and have since been held at The Hague's detention centre.
The flow of documents from the Special, which by a still unknown person have been sent to O'O offices VL- The KLA, and publicisation of this event by the leaders of the organisation, is the reason Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj are being tried.
On them are charges of criminal acts against administration of justice, namely obstructing official persons in performing official duties, fearing witnesses, revenge, and violating the secret of the procedure. / KP
