This, as the Government of Albania has decided to grant Kosovo 7,680 megawatts of electricity for December 31st and January 1st, in an effort to help the country facing an electricity crisis.
Kosovo has been facing reductions of electricity for several days. The reductions were directed by System and Market Operator (KOSTT), due to overload in the electro-energenetic system.
During Wednesday's session, Kosovo's Assembly has approved emergency measures, aiming to stabilise its electricity supply.
These measures will be in force for at least two months.
