As announced in the announcement, Prime Minister Albin Kurti has been accompanied by a charge d'etat at the American Embassy in Pristina, Nicholas J. Giacobbe, Deputy Prime Minister for Minority and Human Rights Affairs in the Republic of Kosovo, Emily Redzepi and Interior Affairs Minister Jelal Svechla.
During the visit, Kurti has stressed that it is an honor for the country to welcome Afghan citizens.
“Prime Minister Kurti said it is an honor for us to have the opportunity to welcome and help Afghan citizens, who are now our guests”, the announcement says.
“Prime Minister Kurti thanked US officials for their communication and close co-operation on this humanitarian issue for refugees who needed our support and who are helping together”, the announcement follows.
