Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has embraced the capital's elected mayor, Rama, just minutes before handing him over.
Rama and Ahmeti are seen close, shortly before the inaugural meeting of Pristina's Municipal Assembly begins.
The new head of the capital, Progress Rama, will be sworn in before Pristina's Municipal Assembly today.
He came out victorious in the second round of local elections, where he was in the race with Arben the Year of Vetevendosje Movement.
