Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu, who reported on the commission, rejected Selmanaj's statement, calling it a misinformation.
In Replic, Selmanaj said Kosovo is in no position to import criminals from other countries.
Kosovo is unable to import criminals. As much as it is sold as an idea that we are helping Denmark”, Selmanaj said. Remember, the Danish state is reluctant to liberalise visas. We have caught even the most democratic countries in this stance, he added.
Selmanaj said some are surprised how Kosovo will accept these prisoners.
“You have said you have to fight crime and corruption, do not take those places with Danish prisoners”, the LDK deputy asked.
