Biden through a text on his Twitter account said that Dole was a very kind man for Americans.
“Bob Dole was a man worshipped by Americans. There has been a sense of humor and integrity. God bless, let our country grow on dignity, good humor, and its patriotism forever”, Biden said.
Dole passed away at 98 after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
