Power crisis, Rizvanolli: We'll send files to the police for reductions lasting over two hours.

Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli has warned of sending a file to the Kosovo Police with cases accepted by citizens when electricity is shutting down more than two hours. The minister stresses that the reduction plan, which envisions eight hours of electricity supply and 2 hours without supply, should be implemented [...]
For this problem, Rizvanolli says he has invited representatives of all relevant institutions to the emergency meeting yesterday: K EDS, KESCO, COST and ZRE.
“During the summit I have requested from them information and reasons for the increased overtime reductions, as well as I have requested from KEDS (with COST assistance) to ensure that the schedule is properly respected during reductions”, it writes, broadcast Express.
She suggests that the Ministry of Economy is preparing a file with all reports to be sent to the Kosovo Police to investigate the case.
“Other than that, several photos are included in this file that have been sent by citizens observing the removal of some of the fuses from the current tract, as well as citizens' doubts about the deliberate removal of a phase in some countries by reducing the resulting burden by making heating in some non-functional <x1) locations, the minister has indicated.
Her full response:
Over the past few days, we have accepted dozens of reports by citizens of the Kosovo Republic for reductions of electricity, which have lasted more than two hours. This clock, which has been instructed by COST based on legislation in force and for which as Economy Minister we have asked KESCO to keep all consumers informed over time.
The reduction plan, which envisions 8 hours of electricity supply and 2 hours without supply, should be implemented equally, and the burden should be distributed equally to all consumers. If that doesn't happen, as reports from the field show, then ME is obliged to take all necessary actions based on its competencies.
Over the last few days, we have accepted several complaints that power reductions in some areas have lasted up to 20 hours. So I invited representatives of all relevant institutions to the emergency meeting yesterday: K EDS, KESCO, COST and ZRE. During the meeting, I have asked them for information and reasons to reduce overtime, as well as requested by KEDS that (with COST assistance) the schedule be respected precisely during reductions. For more, I have demanded that KED stop the deviations, while the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has shared means for subsidising electricity import.
Given that many citizens have expressed their doubts about the authenticity of technical problems for protracted reductions, the Ministry of Economy is preparing a file with all reports sent to the Kosovo Police to investigate the case.
Among other things, this file includes several photos that have been sent by citizens that observe the removal of certain fuses from the current tract, as well as doubts on the part of citizens about the deliberate removal of a phase in some countries by reducing the resulting burden by making heating in some nonfunctional countries.
From the Energy Inspectorate I wanted to have increased vigilance and commitment to monitor the situation.
The economy ministry, together with the Energy Inspectorate, will follow all legal ways to bring to the law all the physical and legal persons that exploit the electricity crisis we are facing, as well as the planned reductions, to prevent energy supply and equal treatment of all consumers.
In a situation like this, we need understanding and solidification, but that is, old habits are not easily forgotten by wrongdoers who see crises as opportunities for profit. To them we will demonstrate by law enforcement.
The Ministry of Economy and Energy Inspectorate are following the situation closely and we encourage all citizens to report suspicious cases in the case.
