Pacolli has commented on the energy crisis Kosovo is going through. He said in a Facebook status he predicted this situation. The MP in the Kosovo Assembly has shared his idea with citizens, which he says has been crucified.

The need for a thermal power plant to produce gas-based electricity as fuel would be now necessary. I have stressed this and insisted that this happen in Kosovo. In 2007/2009 we had potential investors for gasification of our lignite (gas production from lignite) and further construction of a gas power plant of 550 mgw”, it relates.

Pacolli says he regrets no one came to his aid in concreteizing this idea.

For this proposal at the time, I was openly accused of wanting to harm Kosovo's resources and said that lignite is our first permanent subject. No one believed that untranslated lignite can be used in the future. I regret that no one at that time came to my aid to enable this project to be implemented, and now it seems that the price of energy is growing uncontrolled. So, if you prove that to create something valuable, you need a clear vision... what in the future! ”, Pacolli concluded.
