President Vjosa Osmani declared today that Kosovo has met all conditions for visa liberalisation, but that it is the European Union that has not yet fulfilled the promise of free movement of citizens. While he has said Kosovo supports northern Macedonia to open an international investigation into the Kumonova group's case.

Osmani after the meeting she held with counterpart Stevo Pendarovski said European integration remains Kosovo's priority.

There is the great will of Kosovo to increase institutional co-ordination to deepen our bilateral reports. Kosovo and Northern Macedonia share similar strategic interests. Macedonia is part of NATO, where we intend to be. The process of European integration remains a priority priority and is the process that unites us. Despite the fact that Kosovo has met the visa criteria, the EU still has not fulfilled its promise of free movement for our citizens of”, Osmani has said.

In regard to the Kumanovo group's case, the transfer of indictees to Kosovo, Osmani said they should expect the process to be completed in full and clear up all related circumstances.

The case is currently in the Supreme Court after all legal concerns are exhausted. We have seen that it is Zaev himself who said it could be this international investigation, in this direction Kosovo will provide the necessary support and co-operation because only institutional co-ordination is required, which I say is the political statement”, she said.

As far as regional initiative goes, Open Balkans Osmani said this muk investment was built with fundamental principles of equality and that Serbia does not recognise Kosovo. As she said, since Serbia is unwilling to recognise Kosovo, it aims to exploit it for hegemoneist expansions.
