Northern Macedonia rejects justice ministry demand to visit “Kumanovo Group”

The Ministry of Justice of Northern Macedonia has rejected the Kosovo Ministry of Justice's request sent through the embassy in Skopje for the visit of prisoners to the “case Trima neighborhood”

According to the local Dicakster's official stance, the request is rejected in accordance with the Law to implement sanctions. The same is allowed to visit Idrizovo prison, but not prisoners.

“According to the Law to implement sanctions, convicted foreign persons who serve prison sentences in northern Macedonia's prisons can be visited only by consecutive representatives. We consider that the deputy minister of justice in the Republic of Kosovo is not inconsistent but in political office”, the Justice Ministry communiqué says. /Alsat-M/
