Missini: There have been cases that people with limited abilities had to climb to the second floor to vaccinate.

This happened at the Decan Vaccination Center.

So said Handikos's 7-aligned communications official, Catherine Misini, in an interview.

Missin said access to institutions' facilities still remains a challenge for persons with limited abilities.

We had a case in Decani where a disabled person complained that he had to climb to the second floor to be vaccinated. There have been many cases of vaculation where health workers have been forced out and vaccinate those with limited abilities”.

There is no such thing as a terminal approach to any institution, because access does not only mean an object's tilt. The approach also has many other elements, access to toilets, access to the power of the facility, which often has to be a problem in institutions where people with limited abilities have to receive the necessary services such as those health institutions”.

She stressed that there have also been candidates for the Municipal Assembly who have been competing in this local election.

According to her from 11 candidates, three of them have managed to secure a seat.

Disable candidates have competed in local elections. Two or three of them have managed to win”.

The Kosovo government, officially in 2022, has declared it a year of disabled people.
