New mayor of Gjilan, Alban Hyseni, is sworn in today

The inaugural meeting of the new Municipal Assembly of Gjilan will be held today at 10:00 p.m., where the new chairman, Alban Hyseni, and the new Asambliss will swear.

After the chairman's duty was accepted, Hyseni will pay his respects at 1500 p.m.

Hyseni in the second round of elections held on November 14th, defeated his counterCandidat by the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lutfi Haziri.

In the second round of elections, Hyseni gained confidence from 21 thousand of 800 gender citizens or 51.10% of the vote.

And his counterCandid, Haziri received 20 grand and 865 votes, or 48.90%.

We remember Hyseni and Haziri being in a tight race in the first round of elections.

However, Hyseni even in the first round, so on October 17th there were mostly votes. He managed to gain the confidence of 19 thousand and 57 citizens, while Haziri had received the faith of 18 thousand and 546 citizens.

And days ago Hyseni resigned from the post of deputy of the Kosovo Parliament.

Haziri was succeeded by Gjilan's candidate for chairmanship, from the ranks of the Democratic Party, Leonora Bunnjak, who received 3 thousand and 518 votes.

Alliance for the Future of Kosovo candidate (AAK), Nazim Gagica, managed to secure a thousand and 42 votes.
