In Malisheva as well as Ferizaj, there will be reductions today

KEDS has announced that the necessary import is provided for the Festival of Modest Change and that there will be reductions except for the municipality of Malisheva and Ferizaj.

“KEDS/ KESCO announces all consumers that have been provided with the necessary import for the weather change party. Today consumers are being supplied without electricity restrictions. To avoid any surprise on the power grid, KEDS has mobilised hundreds of fellow workers across Kosovo in order to intervene at the shortest possible time”, the communique said.

According to KEDS in Malisheva and the Ferizaj region, it is impossible to continue with supply because of transitional capacities.

Unfortunately, in some settlements such as Malisheva, it is impossible to continue with non-exploitious supply due to limited transmable capacity, which is under COST management. Also challenging remains the Ferizaj region, where overload can appear due to the high trend of consumer growth. KEDS in those cases requires all consumers to save their electricity to the maximum during these festive days. This would avoid eventual overarchings and would reduce the likelihood of any decay.
