Number of Kosovars founding companies in Switzerland increases

In eastern Switzerland, the number of new businesses has increased.

When restrictions and impasses were established after the start of the coronary pandemic, bankruptcy was expected only to increase. But the opposite has happened. The Swiss have established almost 47,000 companies during 2020, reports the platform of young entrepreneurs Startups.ch.

And the trend continues in 2021. If things continue as before, 50,000 new companies will be registered in the Swiss commercial registry by the end of the year, estimates Platform-Startups.ch.

Once again, there was a high percentage of communities of foreign origin at the founding of new businesses. The highest growth has been marked by the founders of firms that are people of origin from Kosovo. “They are more motivated to do something of their own.
