“There is increased employment in Kosovo as no investment is concerned, Kurti is praising himself”

Prime Minister Albin Kurti's warnings, that ten thousand jobs have been added to Kosovo, are being seen as impossible and praise to themselves by the expert in economic affairs, Mustaf Kadriaj. Kadriaj, has said that Kosovo is one of the countries with the highest unemployment rate and the poor level of economy and prosperity. While talking about claims by chief executive for increased employment, Kadriaj says such a thing is impossible unless there are capital investments in the country.
Unfortunately, Kosovo citizens are still being served by governments that do not expect citizens to receive recognition, but give praise to themselves, and this is not a good practice, because it is known that Kosovo so far is among the countries with the highest unemployment rate and the poor level of economics and prosperity, and when it is known that this government is rare among other governments until now that there is no capital investment that can be said to have the opportunity to increase employment. While we don't have investments on which basis this prime minister can assess that he has a high level of employment, and whether that employment should prove that through the pension brain or the Central Bank, this level of employment has disappeared”, he said.
Meanwhile, Kurti's claims on export growth for 66 percent, Kadriaj sees it as impossible, while he says production in Kosovo does not even cover the local market, reports EO.
“This is the highest level of what the government level has for Kosovo, for the fact that when it is known that the export-import report for ill luck is not in Kosovo's favour, and to talk about a 66 per cent figure, it is something that is really depreciated for citizens, because it doesn't, and while we don't have a product that doesn't even cover the local market, how we can talk about exports, when it is known that neighboring states, especially the northern one has not lowered the export level to Kosovo, and not to other countries, he said.
At the fourth meeting of the Stabilisation and Association Council that was held Tuesday, Prime Minister Kurti has said ten thousand jobs and an export increase to 66 percent have been added to Kosovo.
The new “government consists of well-educated, highly integrity-oriented people who are eager to push ahead with success. As a result, we have seen progress in all spheres. After a 3.1% contraction in 2020, reports by the World Bank, we are now experiencing tremendous economic growth. Our exports have increased by 66%, our revenues have increased by 30%, and we have added about 10,000 new jobs to the economy”, Kurti said.
