Heavy situation in several countries in Albania, following rainfall

Disturbing is the situation created due to the exit of the Vjosa River to the Mifoti Bridge. This has caused floods in the village of Novosel and the village of Ferra.

For the first hours in the area, over 75 effective FA and tools that are coming to the aid of civil emergency facilities in Vlora and Fier.

There's work on the ground to clear several roads from water in the Gjirokastra municipality of Dropul and Dill. Road Authority employees are continuing to work for two days to ensure free circulation.

The priority is being followed by the situation created as a result of the Shusica River flows that threw out the Mesuplik village bridge in the Selenica municipality, but also in the village of Kalara in the Himara municipality.

Problems have also brought the Osum River to the village of Verrik in Berat, so several families have been evacuated to the Dimal and Kucova municipality. The defence ministry calls on residents in areas where it has problems co-operating with the evacuation authorities if necessary.

As a result of heavy snowfalls are being followed by structures, even the situation on the Qafetri Street and Bishop-Lour. All local government structures are located on the ground to ensure that normal water supply, citizen energy continues throughout the country. Armed forces under the co-ordination of the Civil Protection Agency are in readiness for any need. / TCH/
