After eight years of governance with the municipality, Lutfi Haziri today handed over his mandate to the new chairman of Gjilan, Alban Hyseni, who he said would also be his chairman and will be supported.
Following the chairman's handover of office, Haziri expressed happiness in his 13-year service in Gjilan at different times. By reason of that, he congratulated Hyseni, saying he will now be his chairman.
I am extremely happy that after a more than 13-year service in the municipality of Gjilan at a different time, today I am finishing my second regular term and handing it over to the elected mayor, to the mayor of our municipality who has been chairman of all, including my chairman. I wish President Alban Hyseni health, above all, that success may follow. A personal commitment to the leadership of his team in Gjilan means walking before no stagnation, moving forward in development, moving forward in prosperity. At the joint conference with Hyseni said Haziri is one of the political figures that has been identified by Gjilan. Nevertheless, he stressed that because of the need, it is the moment for a spirit and a new leadership policy in Gjilan to behave.

Meanwhile today, Alban Hyseni and the young Asambliss were sworn in during the inaugural meeting ceremony.
Hyseni in front of the assembrists pledged he would be chairman of all regardless of which party they belong to.
