The former mayor of this municipality, Xhafer Tahiri, after surrendering his duties, wished Idriz success in his rule, saying the current chairman would have his full support.

We're accepting delivery today. And projects. Let me introduce you to handing over the economic recovery plan for the Wushtrri municipality. It's a project approved by the municipality assembly, the market project for local producers, the clock Tower project, the feasibility study of local producers, as well as the signed contract project, projects that are ongoing, including the memorandums we have with Balkan Lifes, the Home for Older, other contracts. The 2022 budget bill, the contract report implemented so far and those that are under way and wish good health and good work in the interest of the citizens of Vushtrri”, he said.

Meanwhile, the new chairman of Vushtrri, Ferit Idrz, has thanked Tahiri for his four-year work, promising to complete projects left in half.

“Thank you for your engagement during the four-year rule in a period of really many challenges because of the pandemic situation. It is natural that with the end of the mandate, what continues is the projects and I will continue all these projects that have not been completed. However, your cooperation helps the citizens of Vushtrri and me personally in office. Once again, I would like to thank you for this handover of duty with this protocol, just as it suits us, as the citizens of Vushtrri want it, just as democracy wants” has added to Idriz.

The mayor of Vushtrri is currently taking his oath in front of the new mayors, but in front of the citizens.
