Kosovo Police spokesman Bucky Kelani has said KFOR members had asked Kosovo Police to temporarily stop the flow of persons and vehicles in the area since they have been making a controlled explosion of an explosive device.
Kelani reported that the route has been set free for normal circulation around 6:30.
“On the date 08.12.2021 around 17:30 at the border police station ( The SPK-Merdare) by KFOR members has called for a temporary ban on the circulation of persons and vehicles, for reasons they are making the explosion so controlled by an explosive device. The location of the explosive vehicle has been at a distance over a mile from the border point, but due to short-term security, circulation has ceased. About 6:20 p.m., the road has been set free for normal circulation.
