Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca announced that MPs cannot continue with their speeches because of power outagement until it is transferred to the generator system.
I gave you my word, but I'm not giving it to you that we're gonna be out of power now. After we're out of power until we get to the next generator system, I'm looking for five minutes off and then we're back to session”, Conjufca declared.
During yesterday's session in the Assembly, the energy crisis and electricity production capacities in Kosovo have been discussed, which meet consumer demand.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said yesterday in the country that citizens are spending a lot of electricity, even because it costs them cheaply.
Announcing that “Energy crisis is knocking at our door”, Kurti said Kosovo is buying too much electricity and selling it very cheaply to citizens.
“The prices of electricity on the stock market have multiplied and cannot remain in us even a favourable situation, as we continue to pay only 7 cents per kilowatt/hour. So it is true that we are buying expensive and selling cheap electricity and without a certain” deadline, Kurti said.
