On Wednesday, Kovachevski received the decree in the presidential cabinet after the LSDM in advance through a letter had announced it has secured the majority in the Assembly for the new government's vote.
“From today ( Wednesday) started forming the new team of people who have to respond to the serious challenges facing us from the start of the new year. The new government will have a clear goal of providing security, better life and bright future for our citizens. My personal commitment is to turn citizens' trust in politics and the institutions of the country. This requires an efficient, honest and responsible government”, Kovachevski said.
The LSDM chairman will have 20 days to hand over the new composition of the North Macedonian Government for approval.
Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi has said he expects the new government to start working late until January 18th, after previously being voted in the Assembly by 61 parliamentary votes.
The new government will consist of LSDM, the Democratic Union for Integration, Alternative and the Albanian Democratic Party.
