Denmark wraps up primary schools, bars and restaurants due to COVID-19 Omitron variant

New restrictions include closing elementary schools from December 15th, also closing restaurants and bars from Friday's midnight. In addition, the Danish will work from home.

The Danish prime minister has repeatedly said the government would do everything in its power to avoid re-established restrictions, but the country has noted dramatic increases in new cases mainly in recent weeks, forcing the prime minister to impose tougher measures.
