BSPK Steering Council Chairman Ali Gashi said on the “Fropal” show in T7, that he believes that the tool issue is not the reason this Law is not being approved.
I can't believe it's a tool thing. As you know the history of the Law of Salaries is that the Constitutional Court abolishs and the coming of successive elections has stalled this Law. The law regulates many frustrations that have taken place and where there is better than a Law that, in addition to making social peace, frees Government from this problem, which is”, he has said.
Among other things. Gashi said they are demanding respect for the principle of having the same salary for those who do the same work.
“We have always said that the principle of same work, equal salary, and there are no privileges and no pressure here, only equality and transparency must be respected, he said further.
He also provided details about the other problems that have been addressed in their requests to the Government, in addition to the adoption of the Law on Salaries in the Private Sector.
“We insist that the Law of the Salaries be processed and also insist that budgets for 2022 include budget lines for the Law of Salaries, but as other problems we have raised the issue of the State-funded Law on Pension Schemes, where we have asked this issue to be adjusted and to be known the experience of the jobs of all persons who have been expelled from work during the 90th”, Gashi said.
He also responded to Finance Minister Iron Murati, who the day before called these unions captured.
“We are institutions that represent or experience the rights and demands of workers. That's why it's a problem. Those who even think Mr. Iron and others that we're caught, they're very wrong and honestly don't do him a favor, because we're institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and we're represented by law, and we're not today, nor tomorrow, nor the Iron and no one can bring us to the political level, because we don't allow”, Gashi said.
