Civil Service Union welcomes Constitutional decision: Invited Conjufe to take action against those who started it
Constitutional Court days ago has abolished the decision to dismiss five members of the Independent Council for the Kosovo Civil Service ( KAMSCK.
What the Kosovo Civil Service Union has welcomed this decision, saying that in this form the interest of the state of Kosovo and the civil servants is protected in the best way.
Because according to them, the Kosovo assembly will not be needed with this institution.
The union calls for Kosovo Assembly Speaker and chairmanship to take measures against those who have been promotors of these processes.
Full response:
The Kosovo Civil Service Union (SSHCK) welcomes the Constitutional Court decision of the Republic of Kosovo, which found that; the decision to dismiss the 5 KPSHCK members is against constitutional.
In this form has been protected, in the best way, the interest of the State of Kosovo and the Civil Service in particular because, in any form, Kosovo Assembly should deal with this independent institution and that we have already said is a kind of Civil Service Judge, and this has confirmed the Constitutional Court, naming it as a kind of”trional” that means that the assembly and politics should keep their hands off independent constitutional institutions.
This practice of attacks and labels without any legal justification on these institutions is a poor mirror even in relation to the international community and greatly harms the image of the state of Kosovo, because in this form it creates a dangerous precedent for every government and power to deal with these institutions consistently, depending on which party is in power.
Attempting to attack these independent institutions is contrary to any norm and order and that Kosovo's Assembly and parliamentary commissions should not play the role of the Police, Prosecutor and Court because the responsibilities are divided in this respect, and therefore should not interfere with the competencies of other institutions.
The Kosovo Civil Service Union calls on the head of the Kosovo Assembly and the head of office to take measures against those who have been promotive of these processes by which the constitution of Kosovo has been caused irreparable damage to the country's highest institution of the Assembly of Kosovo, because what can be expected from other institutions when the Parliament violates the Kosovo Constitution as the country's most important document.
We prefer that those who have violated our country's constitution not go unpunished.
