The Macedonian prime minister declared TV21 in northern Macedonia that the bus has been returning from Turkey, where of 53 passengers 46 of them already are no longer living.
He also stated that 12 victims are under the age of 18.
There's been a great tragedy in Strumca before Blagoevgrad. Macedonia's bus has returned from Istanbul, Turkey from the trip. The tragedy is in the direction of a small country where from 53 passengers on the bus, 46 died on the scene, and 7 are in the Soge Hospital. I, the minister of health, and the minister of foreign affairs are already in front of Soge, visiting the sick, and understanding the disaster. I'm sorry that more than 12 children are under 18. Terrible tragedy, great tragedy, comfort to families. We don't know who the citizens are, they confirm they're our citizens, they confirm they're in good condition seven people who are in the hospital and that's why we're going there to be informed of more details”, Zaev told TV21.
