The Kosovo Government's pullout from the project to build gas infrastructure financed by the US Government's Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) has been criticised by PDK deputy chairman Vlora Citaku. It has criticised Prime Minister Albin Kurti, in addition to the discours used by Prime Minister Albin Kurti over the issue.
“I would never like the government of the Republic of Kosovo and Washington official reports to have cold reports, Citaku said.
“I would like the prime minister of Kosovo instead of publicly arguing with the US, I would like the prime minister to ask the US directly for a dialogue, to request the appointment of a special envoy for this process, to support American strategic policies”, she stressed on the DPT show at Fidan.
I'm sorry to hear about the decision not only about the gasmaker but also about the disk used around this project. There is no reduction in the strategic projects of that level in sentences like ljipa. These are much larger, very important projects, and I had the desire for the Kosovo government to be more positive, opener and co-operate more closely with official Washington”, she added.
