For the first time in history, an Airbus A340 plane landed in Antarctica

For the first time in history, an Airbus A340 plane has landed in Antarctica. Hi Fly, an airline's behind the flight. The company specializes, which means they rent planes and are responsible for its safety, maintenance and logistics. The plane was ordered by Wolfgang Fang, a camp [...]
The plane was ordered by Wolfgang Fang, a holiday camp on the southernmost continent of the world and brought needed supplies to the resort. Wolfés Fang is a new project by Antarctica's White Desert tourist company, reports Knan.
Each flight lasted five to five and a half hours until the team spent less than three hours on land in Antarctica, covering 2,500 nautical miles.
The ice pistol on Wolfgang Fang's property is assigned a C-level airport, despite technically not an airport. This means that only the highly specialized crew can fly there because of challenging conditions.

Although the ice is <x0m0thmortal”, it can also be disturbing to pilots because of its luster.
The first recorded flight to Antarctica was a Lockheed Vega monoplane 1 in 1928, piloted by George Hubert Wilkins, an Australian military pilot and explorer. It was launched from the island of “Deception Island” in the South Shetland Islands. William Randolph Hearst, American tycoon and publisher funded the project.
Short flights such as these were the way scientists and mapers received vital information about Antarctica's topography. Until now, there is no airport in the White Continent, but there are 50 strips of landing and track.
Australia and South Africa are just two of Antarctica's major global interests.
