The serious accidental event in Bulgaria, which has resulted in fire on a North Macedonia bus, has lost 45 lives and seven others have been injured.

Pernik Regional Security Council Secretary Vasko Pirgov, in a statement to the media, has stressed that one of the causes of the terrible accident may have been speed outside the driver's allowed standards.

According to him, the vehicle has stopped at a gas station, which is only 20 minutes from the scene and it is impossible for the driver to be asleep.

According to Pirgov, the driver may have been in motion after crossing the right lane into the area of a street fountain.

“Autobus allegedly hit a front tire right in a roadblock, since there is no stop-up at that location”, he said.

Among other things, he has testified that the fire started on the front of the bus, and in the police's preliminary report on his spare tires there were oil pipes.C.E.
