David Harbach, the special prosecutor, was announced yesterday that he left work at this institution. Within a short time, the Special may leave another prosecutor on the narrow list to win the deputy prosecutor's position at the International Criminal Court.
Alex Whiting, currently a prosecutor in The Hague Specialised Chambers, is most likely to abandon this institution. The French prosecutor has been put on a tight list with two other counter-Candids to win the deputy prosecutor's position at the International Criminal Court.
Out of 177 applications, six of them have been selected for the two deputy prosecutor positions currently at large. Whiting is listed in Group B and is likely to leave the Prosecutor's Office Specialised.

Whiting is currently deputy prosecutor of the Kosovo Specialised Chamber in The Hague. He has worked as senior prosecutor at the JNP and TPNJ and has an experience in the international prosecutor. The Court praised Mr. Whitting as very suitable for one of the deputy prosecutor's posts. Mr.hiting presented an extremely skilled profile and offered the panel thought - out, discreet and detailed answers to each question. His experience, competence, and rich abilities were evident in all areas of assessment”, says the document he saw news.net, issued by the Court.
Whiting even has the position of chief of investigation at the Special Prosecutor's Office.
The announcement of his appointment was made by the special on June 13th, 2019.

If, Whiting is selected in this position, then within a short time he'll be the second prosecutor to leave the Special Court.
This is after the next Specialised Chambers Prosecutor, David Harbach, has abandoned his work at this institution to start the lawyer's firm O'Melveny in Washington, D.C.
And it remains to be seen whether such evacuations will affect the handling of court processes against former KLA members, given the transfer of subjects as well as investigations conducted by another prosecutor.
The Specialised Prosecutor's Office has also received sharp criticism for delaying international lawyers from KLA leaders in almost all hearings held so far. /Lajmi.net/
