Jashar said it has come to this situation because there has been no willingness by Kurti Government to dialogue with the SBASK on the Law of Salaries.
The main reason that the situation has come to strain is the lack of dialogue and the lack of willingness of Kurti Government to meet with trade unions and in particular with SBASK. This lack has been noted more at Minister Iron Murati because with Minister Nagavci, SBASK, there is continued correspondence and discussion on issues in education. The key word of our clashes is in addition to the lack of dialogue and the wage law, for which the Education Union, Educators and other education workers had staged a three-week strike to change the coeficients, but unfortunately the Constitutional Court turned this law into zero. We have been repeatedly promised by governments that it will be worked together with the Unions to remove the defects the Constitution has announced so that the Law of the Salaries will go into procedure and start implementing. This has not happened until now, and we have not even had official signals that it is being worked on in this Law. I've said publicly that if this goes on we'll have January which will bring us strikes which when it starts it's hard to stop” said Jashar at the “Week interview” for RICLZeta.
