Despite this, buyers continue to be present in many parts of the capital.
Jakup Halili of the wood dealers, said the price is enormous and buyers have big complaints. According to him, the interest of buyers has diminished over the past years.
“Work is going well, but the trees are very expensive, meters are going 50, 60 to 70 euros. What's going on I don't know”
The interest has dropped and buyers are complaining they haven't seen, and I don't even know what to do”, he said.
According to Kosovo Statistics Agency data (ASK), the harmonised consumer price index points to a 2.4 per cent price increase in June, compared to June last year.
Price hikes are also recorded in bread and cereals, fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment, then tobacco, and other products.
According to the AKS, the price decrease is seen in phone and telephax devices. / EO
