The director of the so-called office for Kosovo in Serbia's government, Petar Petkovovic, has today declared that the messages of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, that it will not allow “bossing” of Kosovo, or the formation of the association of municipalities with the Serb majority, can only be understood as an open threat to the Serbian people, Express broadcast. Petkov stressed that the Association for Serbs in Kosovo is of the same importance as the Dayton Agreement for Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that Kurti's messages are “down” of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
“The association of Serbian municipalities is an urgent need of Serbs in Kosovo, as agreed with full executive competencies because it guarantees the collective rights of the Serbian people and the mechanism for protection and any other development of Serbs”, Petkovic said.
“The greater Pristina's resistance to forming association, the greater the need for it to be formed, because otherwise it cannot be”, he added.
Petkovic said the highly dangerous “threat of Kurti” should be read carefully by the European Union, which he begged to react. The Brussels Agreement is not a slap from which anyone can get what is appropriate, but a mandatory document for both sides, but also for the EU”, Petkovic said.
