The Palestine Health Ministry through a written statement has announced that a Palestinian child was shot dead by Israeli forces during a demonstration against settlements in the West Coast, the Anadolu Agency reports.
The ministry's statement said that the child victim was severely injured with a real bullet shot by Israeli soldiers as Palestinians protested illegal Jewish settlements in the town of Nablus in the West Coast.
It also points out that the 13-year-old child was rushed to the Rafidia Government Hospital in Nablus, adding that despite all medical interventions the child was “martified”.
According to local sources, Palestinians held demonstrations this afternoon to protest the expansion of Jewish settlements around Nablus.
The head of the Emergency Unit at the Palestinian Red Crescent Association in Nablus, Ahmad Jybril, told the AA that Israeli soldiers intervened with real bullets against Palestinian protesters in the town's Daer al-Hattab.
