President Vjosa Osmani has invited all Kosovo citizens to come out to vote for the second round of local elections, held in 21 municipalities in the Republic of Kosovo.
Speaking of the importance of this day, President Osmani said the civic obligation to contribute to the country's democracy has not ended on 17 October.
The president after voting at the polling centre “1 October” said she also expects to have active participation of citizens in this second round of local elections and for the whole process to flow well and without any incident.
“Today is just as important a day, which determines the fate of the municipalities where each of you and we live. Therefore, it is very important that citizens respond to this civic obligation so that tomorrow and the day after tomorrow they have more rights and quality of life in the municipalities where they live. I really hope, as in the past, and especially the elections that were held on October 17th, we have active citizens' participation and have a process without any incident in order to be considered democratic and free”, Osmani said.
Osman was accompanied by his spouse.
