Meanwhile, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has appointed the Union Jasharin, commander of the Security Force, instead today. The union is the son of Rifat Jashar and grandson of Adam Yashhar and Hammez Yashar.
Days ago it was reported that the KSF commander would be dismissed from power. This, as he had not been convinced to use US-donated KSF vehicles, as it would be against the agreement with the Americans. The US, on the other hand, has sent diplomatic notes to Kosovo to warn that KSF vehicles are not used by any authority other than the Force.
According to reports, in September, Minister Mehej ordered the command of the Kosovo Security Force to paint four armoured military vehicles M1117. ASV, property of the blue KSF, with the reasoning that they would be used in support of police action in the country's north.
