MPs ask IPK Chief Chief: Did the Police Director get 400kg of drugs interviewed?

Meanwhile, on November 24th, the Kosovo Police Inspectorate through a media communique has denied having interviewed Kosovo Police Director General Samedin Memeti, in the case of taking 400kg of drugs at the entrance of Lipjan that had occurred in May of this year.
According to IPK's announcement, Mehmet was interviewed in the quality of the witness, in the case when a police official was suspected of criminal activity “impact” and “Exploration of official secrecy”.
The purpose of fair information of the IPK reports that his interview has no connection with the seizure of the suspected narcotics substance, which the Kosovo Police themselves are investigating, said the IPK response.
By May of this year, 400kg of cocaine had been found in a truck in Lipjan and allegedly had Germany as their destination.
Kosovo Minister of Internal Affairs Jedal Svecla stressed that the Kosovo Police action has been carried out in co-ordination with “our partners' institutions” and commended the Kosovo Police' “to perform their excellent task”.
Kosovo's “Republic, with all its capacities, will be uncompetitive in fighting all criminal activities, endangering the safety of citizens and challenging the rule of law”, Svecla had said.
Seven people were arrested in this action.
