Mr. President, on the occasion of the National Festival of the Republic of Albania, I would like to convey all my congratulations and in the name of the French people! I want our bilateral relations to continue to grow, namely in the economic arena, in line with the French strategy for the Western Balkans that I adopted in 2019!
I take advantage of this opportunity to confirm France's full support for Albania's European perspective.
In this context, I welcome the greater efforts of the Government and the Albanian people to meet the conditions set by the Council on the hold of the first intergovernmental conference of accession negotiations between the European Union and Albania.
Like during the recent Brdo Summit, I assure you of France's commitment to the implementation of this first conference.
I also welcome your country's stand on the full support of the European Union's foreign policy and common security, and I am delighted with the fact that we will soon have co-operation at the United Nations Security Council's Bay by renewing my sincere congratulations, please accept, Mr. President, the security of my high concern”, the Albanian media reports in his letter.
